I write to invite you to attend a meeting of the Haling Dene Management Committee to be held on
Thursday 24th October 2024 at 8.00 pm in Room 16 at the Haling Dene Centre.

3 DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTEREST (DPI)
4. MINUTES
[a] To approve the minutes of the meeting of 23rd May 2024 and to consider matters arising therefrom.
[b] To receive the Follow Up Sheet from May 2024.
5. INCOME/EXPENDITURE
[a] To receive the Haling Dene Management printouts for the year to date.
[b] To receive the Functions/Bookings list for the year to date.
6. COMMITTEE BUDGET 2024/2025
To note the improvement/project for the 2025/2026 financial year will be a continuous of the Harling
Dene Centre refurbishment.
7. ROOM HIRE CHARGES – 2025/2026
[a] To consider if the Committee wish to increase the Room Hire Charges for the coming financial year.
8. HALING DENE PLANNED MAINTENACE PROGRAMME YEAR 8
[a] To consider what should be undertaken during Year 8 of the above and how this should be taken
forward, taking into account funding available.
9. 2025-2026 SUGGESTED PROJECTS
[a] To consider the above.
10. HALING DENE HOUSE
[a] To consider if the Committee wish to increase the rental for the above from January 2025.
11. HALING DENE CENTRE
[a] To receive and consider a quotation from Braemar Arboriculture Limited at a cost of £600 to
undertake an additional tree survey following the fallen tree last year.
12. GRASS CUTTING AND HORTICULTURAL CONTRACTS
[a] To note the three-year Contract for the above are due to expire on 31st March 2025.
[b] To receive and consider the draft specifications for both Contracts and if the renewal contracts
should be for a three or five year period.
13. 2025-2026 SUGGESTIED EVENTS
[a] To consider the above.
14. HALIONG DENE BAR
[a] To receive the PA’s report for the above.
15. CHRISTMAS CLOSURE
[a] To note the Haling Dene Centre will close on Friday 20th December 2024 at 5.00 pm and re-open on
Thursday 2nd January 2025.
