Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on 10th October 2024
at 7.00 pm at the Haling Dene Centre

6622. APOLOGIES
Apologies were received from Cllrs Mrs Jo Chapman, Sam Harper-Wallis, Gry Poston, Mrs Vivienne Smith
and Ms Jayne Taylor.
6623. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
[a] It was noted that South Staffordshire Council Councillors Mrs Helen Adams, Sam Harper-Wallis and Victor
Kelly declared a Non-Pecuniary Interest and would not speak or vote on Planning Applications.
6624. MINUTES
Resolved that the minutes be approved for:
[a] Planning meeting of 12th September 2024.
6625. MATTERS ARISING
There were no Matters Arising from the minutes.
6626. DECISIONS
[a] The decisions received were noted.
[b] An appeal notice was received for Land at Whiston, ref 24/00116/TRAV, unauthorize material change of
use of the land to a mixed use for agriculture and a residential Gypsy Traveller caravan site and it was
noted comments should be received no later than 28th October.
[c] It was noted the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State to attend the Anglo ES Levedale Limited,
proposed battery energy storage facility, Appeal is A Berry and the date has been set for 22nd October at
the Council Offices.

[a] It was noted no Enforcement Cases for Penkridge had been received.
