Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on 12th September 2019
at 7.00 pm at the Haling Dene Centre

There were no Declarations of Interest.
6249. MINUTES
Resolved that the minutes be approved for the Planning meeting of:
[a] Planning Meeting of 12th July 2019
[b] August 2019 Planning Submission
6250. MATTERS ARISING
There were no matters arising from the minutes.
6251. DECISIONS
An Appeal Notice was received for 16 Brindley Close for the change of use from public open space to garden extension for existing residential dwelling [APP/C3430/W/19/3235519] and it was noted that the closing date for any additional comments is 27th September 2019.
Resolved that a letter be sent to the Planning Inspectorate advising:
[i] If approved this would be setting a precedent
[ii] Residents should not be allowed to take Open Space to extend their garden
[iii] All trees removed without permission should be reinstated by the resident as this has a detrimental effect on the wildlife and the trees were a buffer for the M6.
[iv][ The Parish Council strongly object

It was noted that no Planning Enforcement Cases had been logged for Penkridge.

6254. LYNEHILL DEVELOPMENT
{a] It was noted that part of the Section 106 for the above development was to install a Puffin Crossing on Boscomoor Lane but this had been considerably delayed.
[b] Councillors were advised by SCC Cllr David Williams that the S278 was due to be signed and the crossing installed by the end of October 2019.
