[a] To elect the Vice Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee.
5. MINUTES
[a] To approve the minutes of the meeting of 25th July 2024 and to consider matters arising
therefrom.
[b] To receive the Follow Up Sheet from July 2024.
6. INCOME/EXPENDITURE
[a] To receive the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date.
[b] To receive the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date.
Recreation & Amenities
7. WOLVERHAMPTON ROAD
[a] To receive and consider a quotation from Staffordshire County council to install note Heron,
Wolverhampton Road and Horsefair Play Areas are now complete with the additional
equipment. There is only the two new signs for the gym equipment outstanding.

8. 2025-2026 SUGGESTIED PROJECTS
[a] To consider the above.
9. ALLOTMENTS
[a] To consider the allotments charge for 2026.
10. GRASS CUTTING AND HORTICULTURAL CONTRACTS
[a] To note the three-year Contract for the above are due to expire on 31st March 2025.
[b] To note the provision of hanging baskets for traders has been removed due to the low number
of premises who require hanging baskets and the increasing cost for brackets to be stress
tested.
[c] To receive and consider the draft specifications for both Contracts and if the renewal
contracts should be for a three or five year period.
10. HIGHWAY MATTERS
[a] To note following the Neighbourhood Steering Group meeting of 7th October with County
Highways and the following topics were discussed:
Parking
Walk way /cycle track
Zebra crossings
By-pass Road
WMI Freight Hub
Cannock Rd – 20 mph limit
Burial Ground
11. BURIAL GROUND TABLE OF FEES
[a] To consider if the Committee wish to increase the above for 2025-2026.
12. POND FENCE
[a] To receive and consider quotations to undertake the work to the Burial Ground Pond.
