1537. STANDING ORDER NO. 64
Local Government Act 1972 – Exclusion of Press and Public – to resolve that the Press and Public be
excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds
that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in the appropriate
paragraph(s) Section 1[2] Public Bodies/Admission to meetings Act 1960.

1538. HORSEFAIR PLAY AREA
[a] Councillors received the PA’s update with regard to the Parish Council’s funding contribution to the
Refurbishment of the Horsefair Play Area:
Play Area Reserves upto 31st March 2022 £22,600
Play Area Capital Spend transferred into Play Area Reserves 1st April 2022 £ 5,400
Play Area Capital Spend 2022-2023 £15,000
[c] The Tender details were received.
[d] The list of seven invited Tenders and submitted Grant Applications were received.
[e] Consideration was given to the details from three submitted invited tenders for the refurbishment of
the above.
Resolved that the quotation from Kompan be accepted, in principle, at a cost of £85,435 subject to
the appropriate funding being reached.
