[a]     To elect the Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee

[b]     To elect the Vice Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee.

3. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

5. MINUTES

[a]    To approve the minutes of the meeting of 28^th March 2024 and to consider matters arising therefrom.

[b]    To receive the Follow Up Sheet from the March meeting.

6. INCOME/EXPENDITURE

[a]     To note that the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date will be included on the June Full Council agenda.

[b]     To note that the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date will be included on the June Full Council agenda.

Recreation & Amenities

7. PLAY AREAS

[a]     To note the Heron Play Area will be completed shortly the delay has been due to the poor weather conditions.

[b]     The Parish Council have now received the S106 monies for Camden Homes and the order will now be placed for the outdoor gym equipment for the Horsefair and Wolverhampton Road Play Areas.

[c]     To note the Play Area Inspections for 2024 are to be undertaken by Morral Play Services during July.

8. ALLOTMENTS

[a]     To note the notes from the Allotment Holders meeting on 23^rd May will be placed on the 25^th July Recreation and Amenities agenda for consideration.

9. HIGHWAY MATTERS

[a]     To consider the documents for the Speed Indicator Devices and how the Committee wish to take this forward [documents circulated with the 28^th March agenda].

[b]     To receive an email to Cllr Alan White requesting details of the Schedule of Works for Haling Road and Bellbrook.

[c]     To receive an email dated 9^th May from SCC Cllr Mark Deaville following Cllr Williams email giving Penkridge Monthly Performance and questions raised by Cllr Poston.

10. KINGFISHER WALK

[a]     To note that a fallen tree across the brook has been removed by M Bissell Trees and Hedges at a cost of £150.

[b]     To receive and consider a quotation from Penkridge Fencing to have two six feet gates placed at the entrance to the open space to stop youths gaining access to the open space and gathering on evenings and the weekends.

11. PENKRIDGE COMMUNITY MANAGED LIBRARY

[a]     To receive the minutes from the Volunteer meeting of 15^th March.

Burial Ground

12. MEMORIAL TREE

[a]     To receive an email dated 29^TH March requesting to place a memorial Williow tree in the Burial Ground.

CONIFER REMOVAL

[b]     To receive and consider a quotation from M Bissell Trees and Hedges to remove the very large conifer at the entrance pathway from the car park at a cost of £220.

[c]     To receive and consider a suggested tree to be planted to replace the conifer.

Thursday 25^th July 2024 at 8.30 pm.

14. Local Government Act 1972 – Exclusion of Press and Public – to resolve that the Press and Public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in the appropriate paragraph(s) Section 1[2] Public Bodies/Admission to meetings Act 1960.
