4. VICE CHAIRMAN

[a]     To elect the Vice Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee.

 

5. MINUTES

[a]    To approve the minutes of the meeting of 23^rd May 2024 and to consider matters arising therefrom.

 

6. INCOME/EXPENDITURE

[a]     To receive the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date.

[b]     To receive the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date.

7. PLAY AREAS

[a]     To note Heron, Wolverhampton Road and Horsefair Play Areas are now complete with the additional equipment.  There is only the two new signs for the gym equipment outstanding.

 

8. VILLAGE MATTERS

[a]     To receive and consider a quotation to remove the hanging basket tree on Crown Bridge Island.

[b]     To consider purchasing three Full Barrier Baskets for the River Penk Bridge from Amberol at a cost of £110 each plus VAT.

[c]     To consider if the Parish Council wish to replace any Noticeboards within the Village together with additional noticeboards at the Lynehill and Bloor homes sites.

 

9. 2025-2026 SUGGESTIED PROJECTS

[a]    To receive the above to be considered at the October meeting.

 

10. ALLOTMENTS

[a]     To receive and consider the notes from the Allotment Holders meeting on 23^rd May.

[b]     To receive a break down of the allotment expenditure for 2023-2024 financial year.

 

11. HIGHWAY MATTERS

[a]     To consider the installation of wooden posts on the grass verge of Wolverhampton Road where cars are currently parking and using some of the Highway Liaison budget, subject to the SCC Highways approving.

[b]     To receive a response from SCC Cllr Alan White following Council’s request for him to attend a meeting and to update Councillors on what they are doing with the roads in Penkridge.

[c]     To receive the PA’s update, if any, on the progress of the SID’s order and installation.
