The House was built in extensive grounds for a retired Colonial Bishop in the style of the residency of a Colonial Governor. In 1974 the Parish Council purchased the Haling Dene transferred it into a centre for the community as well as the base for the Parish Council offices. The Haling Dene Centre is a Grade II listed building, built in 1841 set in picturesque grounds ideal for your wedding photographs. Whether choosing to hold your ceremony, reception or a birthday celebration, the experienced and friendly staff will help to make your day special and complete.
Our fully equipped kitchen can be used by your chosen caterers to prepare your ideal buffet and the Mobile Bar Co will provide all your bar requirements.*

Bar Service at Haling Dene
The Haling Dene Centre has a Bar Service which is dedicated to the Centre and which is available to book alongside all our Function bookings.*
*The Haling Dene Centre’s dedicated Bar Company, The Mobile Bar Co provide a Private Bar for your Function. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to book and pay for this separately. Details available on request.
Our Function Room and Lounge/Buffet Rooms are licensed for the consumption of alcohol.
A full list of wines for your special occasion can be obtained from the dedicated Bar Service upon request.
Private afternoon hire is also available for functions. (Subject to availability).
