Under no circumstances should personal or financial data be sent using E-Mail
E-Mail is for corporate use only and is registered under the Data Protection Act solely for that purpose
The hardware and software for E-Mail/Internet access transmissions and receipt belong to Penkridge Parish Council and the Council retains the right to withdraw access if the system is abused
Use of the E-Mail/Internet access will be monitored in the terms of traffic
Contents of E-Mails/Internet access may be checked by authorised officers to ensure the information is work-related
If the contents appear to be not work-related, the details may be reported to Council for assessment
