1. Scope
People who appear to be under the age of 18 must be asked, before being served alcohol, to produce identification which will prove their age.
2. Procedure
2.1 If a person appears to be under the age of 18, then the Bar Manager or a member of the bar staff must request identification, before being served alcohol, showing their;-
Photograph
Date of birth
Holographic mark
Examples of acceptable identification are:
Photo card driving licences
Passport or proof of age cards bearing PASS hologram
Other forms of identification which meet the criteria laid out above
