To receive and consider any DPI requests.

[a]    To receive a Police report if available.

[b]    To welcome the Police Commissioner to the meeting and receive their report.

[a]    To receive updates/reports from the above Councillors.

To approve the minutes of the Full Council meeting of the:

To note the minutes of the:-

[a]    Planning Minutes for 10th July 2025.

[b]    Recreation and Amenities minutes of 24th July 2025

[c]     Haling Dene Management minutes of 24th July 2025

 

  1. WORKING GROUP MINUTES

[a]    To note that no minutes have been received.

 

  1. OUTSIDE GROUPS WITH PC REPRESENTATION

[a]    To note that no minutes have been received.

[b]    To receive the WMI CLG Meeting Notes for 10th June 2025.

[c]     To receive an update from Cllr Minshall following the Penkridge Sports and Recreation Centre meeting.

 

  1. ACCOUNTS

[a]    To approve the accounts for payment for the month of July 2025.

[b]    To receive the expenditure summary print outs for July 2025.

[c]     To note the July Monthly Summary of Accounts and Pie Chart for the website.

[d]     To note the National Joint Council for Local Government Services have agreed:

A pay increase of £1,290 for all NJC pay points below SCP25 and 2.5 per cent on those from SCP25 upwards with effect from 1st April 2025.

 

  1. COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE REVIEW

[a]    To receive and consider an email from South Staffordshire Council’s Elections Team with regard to the above.

 

  1. DISCLOSBLE PECUNIARY AND OTHER INTERESTS

[a]    Councillors are reminded to review the above and update where necessary, updated forms to be forwarded to the Parish Administrator no later than 26th September.

 

  1. STAFFORDSHIRE PARISH COUNCIL’S ASSOCIATION

[a]    To receive and consider if the Council wish to nominate a Councillor to the SPCA Executive Committee.

To note that any representation should allocate the time to attend the quarterly meetings.

 

  1. CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

[a]    To consider if the Parish Council wish to have a tree at the above.

 

  1. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

[a]    To receive an update from the Chairman.

 

  1. GRANTS

[a]    To receive and consider a grant application from the Chill Out Club to hold meetings at the Peace Memorial Hall at a cost of £520.

 

  1. DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING

Thursday 9th October 2025 at 7.30 pm.

 

  1. Local Government Act 1972 – Exclusion of Press and Public – to resolve that the Press and Public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in the appropriate paragraph(s) Section 1[2] Public Bodies/Admission to meetings Act 1960.

Standing Orders – Public Participation

 

7.3

[a]       For a period of no longer than 15 minutes at the commencement of the meeting to receive comments from the general public present at the meeting, concerning relevant items or business of the Council.  No person may speak for more than 2 minutes at the discretion of the Chairman.

33.5     The public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item.

33.6     The period of time which is designated for public participation in accordance with standing order above shall not exceed 15 minutes.

33.7     Each member of the public is entitled to speak once only in respect of business itemised on the agenda.

  • A question asked by a member of the public during a public participation session at a meeting shall not require a response or debate.
