[a] To elect the Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee
[b] To elect the Vice Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee.
3. DECLARATION OF INTEREST
4. MINUTES
To approve the minutes of the meeting of 28th March 2019 and to consider matters arising
therefrom.
5. INCOME/EXPENDITURE
[a] To note that the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date will be included on
the June Full Council agenda.
[b] To note that the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date will be included on the June Full
Council agenda.
Recreation & Amenities
6. GAILEY BUS SHELTER
To receive and consider quotations to have a brick built Bus Shelter, similar to the one
adjacent to the Festival Gardens [to follow].

7. VICTORIAN FAYRE
To receive and consider quotations for a Traditional Fayre for the above to be held on Friday
6th December [to follow].
8. CHRISTMAS LIGHTING
To consider how the Committee wish to take the above forward for 2019.
9. SUMMER SUSSED 2019
To consider if the Committee wish to sponsor the South Staffordshire Summer Holiday Scheme
2019 with the half price cost for Penkridge children attending the Programme together with
50% reduction for day time swimming during the Summer holidays.
10. VILLAGE ROAD SWEEPING
To receive and consider an email dated 8th May from South Staffordshire Council Street Scene
Manager with regard to the above.
11. LITTER PICK BOARDS
[a] To receive an email dated 14th May from South Staffordshire Council’s Community Services
advising of the above.
[b] To note that Penkridge are to be provided with a Board during June for a period of one
month and to consider where Council wish to the Board to be placed within the Village.
