I write to invite you to attend a meeting of the Haling Dene Management Committee to be held on Thursday 26th January 2023 at 7.00 pm in Room 24 at the Haling Dene Centre.

3 DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTEREST (DPI)
4 . MINUTES
[a] To approve the minutes of the meeting of 27th October 2022 and to consider matters arising therefrom.
[b] To receive the Follow Up Sheets from the October meeting.
5. INCOME/EXPENDITURE
[a] To receive the Haling Dene Management printouts for the year to date.
[b] To receive the Functions/Bookings list for the year to date.
6. HALING DENE CENTRE
[a] To note the yearly inspection by TJB has been undertaken and there are no major problems, only a few roof tiles relaced.
[b] To receive the HDC Monthly Inspection Report for October.
[c] The PA has costed for a new Projector and two 65 in TVs an the cost range is
Projector £580 – £4,000
65 in TV £550 – £5,900
It is recommended that a projector be purchased upto £650 and the purchase of the TVs be reviewed later in the financial year.
[d] The Patio shrubbery will be removed by the Handyman and the new horticultural Contractor will be asked to quote for new planting.
[e] To receive and consider the Chairman’s report on the Haling Dene Centre trees following a site meeting with the SSC Tree Preservation Officer.
6. HALING DENE CENTRE
[f] To receive and consider a quotation from Dyno rod to clear the tree roots in underground storm drain from Room 1.
7. KING’S CHARLES CORONATION
[a] To receive an update for the King’s Coronation arrangements on Sunday 7th May 2023.
8. HORTICULTURAL CONTRACTS
[a] To receive and consider Tenders for the Horticultural Contract for 2023 – 2026.
9. BAR FACILITY
To receive the PA’s report on the above.
10. DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING
Thursday 23rd March 2023 at 7.00 pm.
11. Local Government Act 1972 – Exclusion of Press and Public – to resolve that the Press and Public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in the appropriate paragraph(s) Section 1[2] Public Bodies/Admission to meetings Act 1960.
