1. APOLOGIES

2. CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN

[a]     To elect the Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee

[b]     To elect the Vice Chairman of the Recreation and Amenities and Burial Ground Committee.

3. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

5. MINUTES

[a]    To approve the minutes of the meeting of 23^rd March 2023 and to consider matters arising therefrom.

[b]    To receive the Follow Up Sheets from the March meeting.

6. INCOME/EXPENDITURE

[a]     To note that the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date will be included on the June Full Council agenda.

[b]     To note that the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date will be included on the June Full Council agenda.

Recreation & Amenities

7. PLAY AREAS

[a]     To receive the PA’s update on Heron Play Area.

[b]     To receive and consider a quotation dated 9^th March from Wicksteed to replace the train on the Horsefair Play Area.

[c]     To note the Play Area Inspections for 2023 are to be undertaken by Morral Play Services during July.

8. ALLOTMENTS

[a]     To receive and consider the updates to the Allotment Rules and Regulations.

[b]     To consider if the Committee wishes to investigate the possibility of an Allotment Association.

9. VICTORIN FAYRE

[a]     To consider if the Council wish to hold a Victorian Fayre this year.

[b]     If the above is to be held Councillors to put their names forward to help with the Road Closure on the day together with help with the organisation on the afternoon and evening closure of the event.

10. MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS

[a]     To note that the Stress Testing has been undertaken on the Hanging Basket/Christmas Tree brackets at a cost of £440 by Chains and Lifting.

[b]     To consider an offer from Penkridge Gentleman Spoofers of a bench with a suggested location of one of the Village Play Areas.

11. PENKRIDGE COMMUNITY MANAGED LIBRARY

[a]     To consider a request from the Library Volunteers for the Parish Council to have leaflets printed and distributed to all households.

[b]     To consider if the Council wish to approve the suggested amendment to the Library Opening Hours.
