4. MINUTES
[a] To approve the minutes of the meeting of 26th October 2023 and to consider matters arising
therefrom.
[b] To receive the Follow Up Sheets from the October meeting.
5. INCOME/EXPENDITURE
[a] To receive the Recreation and Amenities printouts for the year to date.
[b] To receive the Burial Ground printouts for the year to date.

7. PLAY AREAS
[a] To receive an update on the installation of equipment at Heron Play Area.
[b] To note the new train has now been installed at Horsefair Play Area.
8. HIGHWAY LIAISON
[a] To receive an update from Cllr David Williams following the items raised at the October
meeting.
[b] To receive Cllr Lenz’s update following his survey of Haling Road.
[c] To consider a request from residents for a speed restriction on Filance Lane.

9 ALLOTMENTS
[a] To note that nine allotment holders expressed an interest in forming an Allotment Association.
[b] To receive and consider a quotation from M Bissell Trees and Hedges to trim back trees and
hedges at Wolgarston Way Allotments.
10. GRASS CUTTING
[a] To receive an email dated 24th October from Trent Grounds Maintenance giving notice on the
above Contract.
[b] To receive and consider quotations for a new Contractor to undertake the above for a 12
month period.
11. VILLAGE TOILETS
[a] To note the boiler in the above has been replaced at a cost of £500.
12. PENKRIDGE COMMMUNITY MANAGED LIBRARY
[a] To consider if the Parish Council wish to host a community meeting of Community Managed
Libraries in Staffordshire together with their representatives/volunteers in September, this would
include Room 16 and refreshments.
Burial Ground
13. BURIAL GROUND TABLE OF FEES
[a] To receive an update on the repairs to the Burial Ground pond fence.
14. DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING
Thursday 28th March 2024 at 8.30 pm.
15. Local Government Act 1972 – Exclusion of Press and Public – to resolve that the Press and
Public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business
on the grounds that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined
in the appropriate paragraph(s) Section 1[2] Public Bodies/Admission to meetings Act 1960.
